Thriving Thursdays

Do you ever feel sort of lost?   Off kilter with time and space?  Out of step with the crowd?  Okay, think for a moment.  Do you really want to be found?  Do you want to be like, think like, and act like everyone else?  Really?

"Not all those who wander are lost…"
J. R. R. Tolkien

As a child watching the old TV show “Lost in Space,” I couldn’t help wondering why the Robinson family would ever want to leave the Jupiter 2 and their life of adventure to be “found.”  Naturally I see things from a different perspective now, but I think you get my drift.

Maybe fans of Tolkien or The Lord of the Rings would like to see the entire poem.  Here it is.

"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."

J. R. R. Tolkien

Have a thriving Thursday,
