So here we are, almost at the end of 2016. Nearly 365 days have gone by -- oh wait. This is a leap year, so there will have been 366 days at year's end. Ah well. A day here, a day there.


I've been publishing Friday Fundays for almost two years, mainly because I love fun. I love humor (humour for some of my readers). Often these fundays have posts connected to words written incorrectly, or just plain wrong words altogether! Sometimes I find pictures where there's a homophone misused; other times it's just a funny goof, maybe a pun!

Today's edition is the second and last one relating to anything Christmas or Hanukkah for 2016.

Santa has been having a particularly gruelling time on his travels this year, Susan, what with having to avoid scud missiles and having been blown off course by the occasional 737. So he was pretty frassled when he got home to find a little fairy elf holding a Xmas tree. "What would you like me to do with this, Santa?" the fairy asked ..... and now you know why, next year, there'll be a fairy on the top of your Xmas tree.

Susan, I found this today in the Times. It was under the funniest cracker jokes. Who corrects Santa's grammar? A subordinate clause. Ho Ho Ho. It was Number 1. My favourite one was - which playwright was scared of Christmas? Noel Coward
