If Something Works....

It’s a week after the college quarter and I haven’t written anything in my blog in over a month. With two classes and sorting out the admissions paperwork, it’s been a busy. Time. If I want to keep blogging I guess it’s up to me to make time to keep writing. Since I’ve gotten in a habit of writing most every day like keeping a journal, I’d might as well keep blogging, even if I only post every now and then.

The stats on my blog site say people have been clicking the link to my blog on the platforms I post on like Bebee and sometimes Linkedin. A few people have been following what I post on Facebook and Twitter too. Since I’m starting to get known, why stop? I was thinking about switching to Wordpress, why change to a new website if the one I have is working?

Yesterday I found out an old student loan got transferred from a bank back to the Department of Education. That means more paperwork. It’s going to take a month to get this sorted out. Sometimes I think all this screwing up the paperwork is part of the weeding-out process. It’s like the college and people who give out funding want to see who wants to be here the most.

The classes aren’t hard for the most part just time consuming, but with all these games I’m starting to think I’m in the wrong place. I might be better off finding something I can do and going into business for myself again. Maybe I found out where I don’t belong.

My first week back to college was kind of confusing. I was still sorting out the paperwork while classes were going on. It was strange going back to school with people younger than me. The ones in their thirties and starting over are as old as some of my kids.

Mark, Good to hear from you again. Bureaucracy like you've been dealing with is everywhere. It has taken me 5 months to try to deal with my Mom's estate--a trust, a house and a car--and I'm still not done. If you really want to go crazy, try dealing with insurance companies!
