How To Effectively Brand Yourself As A Thought Leader
There's a strong correlation between being a good content creator (making clear, nuanced, defensible content) and being regarded a genuine thought leader.

Interestingly, the word authority is derived from the word author. Dictionary.com defines the word author as, “the maker of anything; creator; originator.”
When you create clear, nuanced, and defensible content which resonates in the hearts and minds of your audiences, you elevate your status as an authority; a thought leader.
Some of the content you should be looking to author is:
- Facebook Live video
- YouTube video
- Blogging
- Writing a book or eBook
- Podcasts
- TV or radio show
Making The Transition To Thought Leader
Transitioning your brand to one as a true thought leader requires a strategy, execution, and continuation. In other words you will need to muster up some insight, intelligence, and persistence.
My best advice is this: find the content format you are most comfortable with and start. Yes, at first it will seem difficult. You may come across as uncomfortable. But the only way through those tough moments is to persist, reiterate, and learn.
Over time, you will become better and better. Your audience will see you grow and you move through your content journey. And if your content is good (on the road to becoming great), you will position yourself as a thought leader.
