Laugh. Laugh A LOT. Laugh at everything. Remember, you are one of the lucky ones. You managed to have a life, a long one. Many never get to this age, never get to experience a full life. But you did. So what’s not to laugh about? Find the humour in your situation.

Writing a daily blog can be demanding even if you don't have an audience. I find the writing to be challenging but it gives me an interest and a reason to do some research into areas, I would not have had a chance to explore.

Being an older person, a senior or a grandparent means that we should first try to understand the poetry and metaphors of our lives before we pass these metaphors on to our grandchildren, so they can continue the dream.
