COMPLETE INDEX TO THE SERIES

AN INDEX TO THE COMPLETE SERIES OF CROSS-BORDER RANTS AND BANTERS ABOUT WHATEVER PHIL FRIEDMAN AND JIM MURRAY DECIDED TO PICK ON...

in December, 2015, Jim Murray and I decided to try our hand at a new format for publishing long-form posts on LinkedIn. The approach was to pick a topic and and discuss and argue (good naturedly) about that topic, while giving free rein to each of our respective writing styles.

At the time, I pictured it as the kind of traveling intellectual serial exchange that Gore Vidal and William Buckley put on over several months in 1968, when, as the New York Times put it, "Debate became blood sport." Well, although neither of us is a writer of the quality of either Buckley or Vidal, we have managed to offend some people and amuse more.

Indeed, the series has developed a pretty loyal following, for whom we are thankful, and to whom, we are grateful for their support. And if it suits you to sample some or all of the installments, a complete index of those follows here.

Please feel free to read, enjoy, and to join the conversation.Phil Friedman

David David Grinberg, I understand enjoyable -- Jim and I are so cuddly cute -- but "enlightening"? Really? If you truly believe that, you've been spending way too much time in Washington. But anyway, thanks for the kind words, and for reading and commenting. Cheers!
