Globalization is a Warning

This is my comment to a buzz written by Phil Johnson called Globalization
At first blush, globalization doesnât seem all that bad. Globalization seems to hold an answer to the worldâs financial troubles, among other things. But, sadly it will happen because it is prophecy. All the empires presented in a dream to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia represent other attempts to institute one-world government (Daniel 2). In the prophecy of Daniel 2 we read about how God gave King Nebuchadnezzar a dream with a great image of a man, made out of different metals, and how God revealed the interpretation of the dream to the prophet Daniel. God gave this dream to Nebuchadnezzar and revealed the information to Daniel around the year 603 B.C. And yet it accurately foretold the future kingdoms of this world right up to the end times, which we can confirm through historical records.
Babylon was the gold head. Medo Persia was the breast and arms of Silver. Greece was the thighs of Brass. Rome was the Legs of Iron. We are today at the feet of this prophecy given over 2600 years ago. The FEET represents the union of Church and State - THE PAPACY! But what about there being TWO feet. If you read Revelation 13, you will see that America makes an IMAGE OF THE PAPACY. A church-state union in America - In other words, A COPY
It is notable that Nebuchadnezzar envisioned a fifth and final world empire, which is yet to come. Today, that ability is here. This will come through the method of Globalization.
First I do want to look at the Pros of Globalization. It has many pros like: encouraging free trade, potential of more jobs, it eliminates currency manipulation, it allows for open lines of communication, We could begin pooling resources to do great things, Business tax havens go away in globalization, and more.
But there are many NEGATIVES sides as well. Â
Here are some of the Negatives: It generally makes the rich become rich and the poor to become mired in poverty, Globalism creates a culture of fear, It creates a political system where the biggest and the richest have influence, Diseases travel faster in a world that is globalized, Social programs that act as safety nets could be removed, It could lead to greater worker exploitation, It WON'T be a level playing field for everyone when it happens, It could have an even more negative impact on the environment, and losing borders could mean losing one's identity.Â
Most important, history also shows that any time man attempts âglobalizationâ it is ruled by wicked, ungodly people. Yes, this even applies to Nationalism. It often leads to separation and loneliness, to socioeconomic cliques and sometimes lead to war. But Nationalism can also develops the infrastructure of the nation, inspires people to succeed, and gives a nation a position of strength. This in the hands of the leaders.
I know this day of a One World Government will come but people always fight for their freedom. So, I believe it will take a world catastrophe for the people of the world to give up their Freedom of a false sense of Security. This is because the historical form of globalization is military conquest.
This final empire will be a true global government, ruled by the man known as the Antichrist, also called the beast and the lawless one (Revelation 13:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:8). He will have âauthority over every tribe, people, language and nation,â and he, along with the False Prophet, will force all people to take his mark. This future global leader will control all financial transactions (Revelation 13:17) and all religious observance (Revelation 13:8). Refusal to worship the Antichrist means death; acquiescence means eternal punishment from God (Revelation 13:15; 14:9-11).
KINGDOM OF JESUS AND GOD - We reach an end of this prophecy and the end of this world as we know it, when Jesus Christ returns at the second coming and destroys once and for all the kingdoms of this world. Then, after the 1000 year millennium and the earth renewed, God will establish His kingdom on the new earth, which will be an everlasting kingdom. A kingdom of glory and righteousness, where there will be no more wicked men to rule over us, but a just and righteous God.
