Giving and Receiving

Giving and Receiving

Giving and receiving

Life generally is about giving and receiving.  There are times when we give more than we receive and times when we receive more than we give.  The problems arise when we get stuck in one or the other.  Getting stuck leads to issues that need addressing.

All things in balance is a very popular phrase.  All things in balance.  And while it has limits, in this case, it is true.  Giving and receiving must be in balance or we as a people become unbalanced and gain some rather unlikable tendencies.

Now, like many of you, I have some solutions to each of these areas, but the truth is you don’t need any of them.  You are quite able to solve your own problems in this area if you simply recognize that you have become stuck.  The honest truth is when we become stuck, we generally like it.  We like the benefits we receive in that situation.  We like the results of being stuck, so we stay there.

We can ignore the negative results for quite a while when we focus on positive personal reinforcements.  These vary from person to person, but the deviation is not large.  So, the solutions to are not that varied.  We just do not want them.

All things in balance is a popular phrase for a reason.  Be willing to recognize the improvement in your life as you find that balance.

Blessings!

“For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Newton’s Third Law. As in physics, so be it in human interaction.

Talking of positive reinforcement, don’t you just love it, when driving out on the open road, how so many young people give your driving style the thumbs up? 👍

I appreciate you two; @Zacharias 🐝 Voulgaris and @Pascal Derrien. You are honest in your replies and I respect your thoughts. In this case, your giving is received with thankfulness!
