We’ve all seen them — hopefully not in our own writing. But typos exist, and sometimes they’re funny and sometimes (when they’re ours), they’re not.

Microsoft announces it will lay off 2,100 employees — Microsoft told about 2,100 employees Thursday they're being laid. That's on top of a July announcement of 18.000 job cuts. The cuts are partly related to Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia's phone business, which brought in some 25,000 Nokia employ- ees to Microsoft, and partly a reflection of Microsoft CEQ Satya Nadella's vision of a Microsoft that's more agile.

I'll "peeface" my comment, Susan, by suggesting that those preparing for being "laid" by Microsoft may wish to get in the mood with some "porn and beans" - but only if the "porn" has no associated 'flatulation' ? Now that you've set the precedence for blue jokes, Susan, and assuming that you have a relatively broad mind, I'm reminded of the time I asked my elderly Volvo-driving aunt how my Uncle Richard was getting to the family get together, which I had arranged. She advised me that "Dick is coming in my vulva". I never did challenge her typing skills in this particular instance. 😔
