Fishy Friday Funday, August 26
So, it's actually Friday again! Woo hoo! It's the end of August, September and fall are around the corner, but with all the changes coming up, there is one thing you can still count on: Friday Fun!
Friday Fundays are a great way to end a week, whether it's been easy or tough. I hope these pictures give you a laugh or two.
Buy an adult, get a kid for free? Suuuuuuuuuuure!
An advertisement in the South Station train station, Boston, where I was waiting to board a year or so ago. Terrible grammar but a great ad!
I've heard of bonfires, but never bonefires . . . and yes, there's a comma missing too. And for the record, I want a LOT more summer first!
From the Single Dad Laughing FB site,
a word I am certain I would misspell or say.
Don't pay in hear, pay in said. Okie dokie!
Yes, they are.
A bunch of Tom Swifties . . . updated
And the one that makes my eyes and brain really hurt!
Which one made you laugh the most?
*****************
Many of these funnies come from Facebook pages that you can access any time you're in need of a few more good laughs. My favorites are Single Dad Laughing, I am not a grammar cop, Language Cranks Redux, and Tannuzzo Copywriting.

Do the associates in your company look and sound as smart as they are? They would if they could take one of my Brush Up on Your Skills workshops right where they work. If your company hires outside experts to teach any topic to its associates, please share my posts and website with your Human Resources or Training Manager.
I offer free generic Brush Up on Your Skills workbooks in a pdf format in American grammar, business writing, and interpersonal skills. They show what I teach in my three-hour corporate classes.
Want one? Let me know which one, and please send me your email address. I will not use it for any other purpose. Promise!

Yes, Kevin Pashuk, it's so much worse when it's about education! My eyes just hurt looking at it.
