Eschatology or the end is coming well duh

Will there be an end of the world, of course. It is a fact that our sun will turn supernova and completely cook the earth. But prior to that event is it statistically certain that we will be struck by a rock of such size that it will significantly impact human existence. But again lets be real neither of these possibilities are what keep us up at night.
The real issues that keep people up at night are nuclear and biological disasters. Many people who study eschatology of varying prophetic sources read into them nuclear and biological ends. But what is the real problem, the real reason we fear the end of the world? Why do we have ancient texts describing the end of the world? Why have movies discussing the end of the world scenarios exist and even have reasonable attendance?
Are we scared of death? Are we scared of all life ending? Or are we simply fearful of massive change? Truly if we are destroyed by nuclear bombs will we even know it? Why are people so concerned about the end of the world? I expect by now you have notice my callous approach to the end of the world.
Let’s be completely honest by one means or another, our world will be destroyed. Regardless of when it happens next week or in 100 billion years the earth will end. So what is your real concern? You, your family, the human race, what?
You know the end is coming, you know that you only have your life time to affect your actual concern. So what are you doing? Are you searching for answers to the problems you foresee or are you going with the flow? Another fact, you will die. You will die either in time or at the end of the world, so are you ready?
You most likely have planned for your retirement and have planned for vacations so what plans do you have for your death? Yes you can plan for burial arrangements so everything is prepared for your end. Then what?
It’s the end of the world

The end of life either personal or corporate leads us to the simple question, Now what? As Harvey brought up there is no more time to change decisions. Fay reminds us that in the end there are only two groups "saints & aint's". We might go out with a bang and not the whimper, but go where? I expect it is best to know now because then it will be to late.

@HarveyLloyd Harvey~ Your response made me think of 3 Haiku poems that I wrote for my Birthday (a tradition I hope to continue ;~) 1) Savor time today Life hour-glass is rushing ;~) Grate-FULL is my heart 2) Decades slipping by Choices made cannot be changed Nor life rearranged 3) Son-Light every day Possibilities unfold Where will my heart lead? It also made me think of the parable of the "10 virgins" I have had enough laps around the cornfield of life to take with much gravity... the fragility of life This age will end ... just as the door closed in this parable At the end of this age there are only 2 lines: "saints & aint's "Those who have the Son have life Those who do not have the Son do not have live" ... this is "Gods testimony"
