Establish an agreed-upon method to immediately begin weekly communications with the Board of Education.
Release a letter to all Mount Healthy staff introducing myself;
Release a video to parents, community members, and Mount Healthy stakeholders;
Frequent local businesses, churches, restaurants to personally introduce myself and begin the engagement process.
Arrange a meeting with Dr. Reva Crosby.
Arrange a meeting with any internal candidate who applied for the superintendent position and have a conversation to determine how I can support them and build a positive relationship.
Arrange a meeting with the school district Treasurer, Rebecca Brooks, and set long-term regular weekly meetings to understand the five-year forecast of the District.
Set up meetings with the leadership of the Mount Healthy Teachers Association (MHTA) and Mt. Healthy Classified Education Association (MCEA).
Establish meetings with the HCESC, Great Oaks, and all major Mt. Healthy partners to discuss our partnerships and how we can continue to foster them.
ORGANIZE, DEVELOP, AND LEAD A “LEADERSHIP RETREAT”
include all district administrative staff, principals, deans, directors, treasurer, and others.
Build an agenda around team building, relationships, roles and responsibilities, challenges, hopes for the future, and needed support.
Gain an understanding of the team and their leadership styles and begin to build relationships.
Visit and spend time in all schools and facilities; Drive all district boundaries;
Get a feel for the entire school district;
Meet with the architect for an Early Learning Center.
MOUNT HEALTHY COVID-19 RECOVERY PLAN FOR 2020-2021
Ensure a safe re-entry for staff and students;
Assemble a team to begin the work of putting together a recovery plan for our staff and students;
Prepare for the possibility e-learning in the fall; Prepare for possible split schedules;
Plan or extend emergency food distribution for students;
Work with the health clinics to create wellness checks for our students;
Create safety measures (plexiglass, hand sanitizers stations, thermometers, face masks, additional cleaning measures, etc.)

Strategically develop 3 Listening sessions at each school in collaboration with the building principal.

Ohio Improvement Process
Engage 90 people in 90 days (no more than 4-5 in a group);
Meet with the Mayor of Mount Healthy, James Wolf and all elected officials in Mount Healthy, Springfield Township, and Colerain Township;
Attend city council or township meetings multiple times; Meet with all appointed staff (city manager, finance director, law director, clerk, building inspector, street superintendent, and parks director);
Meet Fire Chief, Steve Lawson, and Police, Chief Vincent Demasi; Join, attend, visit, and engage Mount Healthy community organizations including, but not limited to, Mt. Healthy Business Association, Mt. Healthy Renaissance Project, Mt. Healthy Historical Society, We THRIVE! Mount Healthy, Mt. Healthy Alliance Inc, Kiwanis, Rotary, Eagle, and the American Legion;
Develop a Parent Advisory Group and set monthly meetings; Arrange a meeting with all non-public schools or charter school leaders in Mount Healthy (Mount Healthy Preparatory and Fitness Academy and Assumption);
Invite State Senator Thomas and Congressman Wenstrup for a roundtable discussion to establish avenues of communications.
Evaluation of the first
Present in open session to the Mount Healthy Board of Education.
