Business as Usual

It's been a while since I wrote anything in my blog. It's just been business as usual in Seattle. Still looking for a place that isn't too far out to move into. Was going to wait until I moved to write in my blog, but that might take a while. 

People have been asking about the upcoming election and President Trump. 

I've been watching both parties for years. The Democrats always promise to get a bunch of social programs like they have in Europe that will help people. When they get voted in and try to fund the new programs it turns out the American Public doesn't want to pay the same kind of taxes they do in Europe. So the party can't deliver what was promised. Then the Republicans get voted in and people wonder how that happened!!

Things weren't going too bad until the Tea Party showed up and people who didn't like either party voted for them. They probably meant well, but they turned out to be a group of outsiders that threw a monkey wrench into the system.

Who knows if that was their real plan or not?

Whether or not Trump can win a second term in office is a damned good question. His campaign is going to sink or swim on it's own. 

I don't know if the Democrats can win acting like it's business as usual and I'm not voting for Trump. I don't know what anyone else going to do, but I'm sitting this one out when election time comes. 

I guess I'll be at ringside.
