Are you having a bad day?
Are you having a bad day?
So, you had a bad day. I seem to be saying that a lot lately. And honestly, I am not even sure just who has had a bad day. Just in general I guess someone must-have. Then I say something like don’t worry about it just get up and move forward. While this is considered decent general advice it is not all that helpful if you need specifics. Or in the case of your bad day was more than I burnt the toast.
Having a bad day can range from I burnt the toast to I found out I have some life-ending disease. At which point the simply move forward just doesn’t quite fit every case. When the bad day is centered around the more common, I made some questionable choices category, we can use the forgive yourself and move forward answer. Yes, I know that there are often some strange consequences that come with poor or questionable choices, but in all truth, they simply must be addressed regardless of your decision to move forward or not, so you might as well move forward.
But back to the original issue, why am I under the impression that people are having a rash of bad days? Social media, the news, world events? While each of these presents their perspective of life, they are very limited views of life. So again, why do I believe as I do?
Perhaps it is the lack of smiles on people’s faces? It could be I am misconstruing the micro signs I read off of the people I, see? Are people having bad days? Is there a sudden increase of problems we face and therefore we are not adjusting quick enough? Am I simply looking for problems?
I find this a curious thing, my perception. My perception is the same as any, very much dependent on what I am thinking and desiring. Hoping will happen or fearing will happen sharply influences perception. Perhaps it is simply I am concerned that people are having bad days and I want to get ahead of the curve. Interesting.
So, in conclusion, I truly hope your day is going very well and that they may continue to be filled with adventure and opportunity.
Blessings!

Lift the gloom!!!! Their laughing freaked my cat out, she left her food and took up refuge in the garden. I'm keeping it to use when she scratches furniture, tries to pinch our food, etc.

Unfortunately I don't. However, it's pretty simple to reverse engineer. The developer in charge of that feature probably did some NLP analysis on the text of the article and picked the most prevalent terms (words). Not particularly clever but better than nothing, I guess.

“Hashtag generation”, now that is a very interesting insight. @Zacharias 🐝 Voulgaris do you have any research into it? That would be very valuable I would think.

The automatic hashtag generation on this platform is simply hilarious! I guess it is designed to help people cope with their day, especially if it's been bad… :-)

My days are mostly like the Curates Egg, a mixture of good and bad parts.
The eventual outcome rests with the balance between the two.
For the most part I have more positive days than negative ones.
Like clouds my days have silver linings.
