Are We Feeling the Heat on this Fine Friday Funday?

What a freaking week ... me, at 8:24 a.m. on a Monday

Actually, we in the U.S. Northeast will be feeling some heat -- it'll be ... wait for it ... 60 degrees F! Of course, there's a downside: We expect a monsoon. Pouring rain. For two days.

The upside? It won't be snow.



The other upside? It's Friday, and many of us can at least take a break knowing the weekend is coming, and we have another edition of Friday Fundays.

One of your best collections, everyone a gem in its own way. The one which got me thinking was the children's thighs. I was off in the realms of Hansel and Gretle, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and other fables etc.

And for this last storm named Grayson (who knew we name ordinarly storms???), Joel Anderson, given its size and the weather folks' tendances to SHOUT THAT THE APOCOLYPSE IS COMING, the stores were more jammed than usual. The TV anchors showed endless videos of shoppers shopping as though the world really was going to end. Sigh. But I do love that meme!

These were just too funny. Having experienced weather events on the east coast, I would have to say that the weathermen working for the bread and milk companies just reminded me of going the to store to get "essentials" and finding the bread and milk gone. :)
