Animals are good for your soul

To me there is no better love,  then the love of animal weather it's a dog or cat. Any animal. I had a American bulldog for the past 14 years he was the light in my life.  He was a good 145lbs of pure baby.  When I lost my sister he was there right by my side. About less then a month ago he passed away.  BUT he when he got hurt I didn't leave his side.  I took off work and stayed right with him fed him washed him did everything when I lost him it was the day I went back to work.  I had my husband stay with him. A part of me feels that he passed because I wasn't there for him.  Then again I think he knew my heart couldn't take him passing right there in front of me. I believe God gave him to me 14years ago and that now he was calling him home. 2 months before he passed I found a puppy just like him same breed and all.
