5 Cocktails Perfect For Fall
As the seasons abandon the warm weather and the cold begins to cool in, everyone is preparing for fall. Fall has quickly become people’s favorite season, mostly because of the delicious recipes with the classic autumn staples of pumpkin spice and cinnamon. Not only are their great foods to try this fall but even greater cocktails:
Apple Cider Mojitos
Good mojitos are hard to find, so why not make one of your own? Apple Cider Mojitos take the great tastes of fall in this delicious cocktail. Although cider and mint don’t sound that great together, the flavors compliment each other well. The cocktail is made with lemon juice, gold rum, apple cider, mint for garnish, apple slices for garnish, and cinnamon sticks for garnish.
Pecan Pie Martini
Apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies have become another staple of the fall season. Making one of these pies into a martini makes it even better. The Pecan Pie Martini looks innocent enough but packs a mean punch. The cocktail is made with 6 oz. rumchata, 6 creme de cocoa, 3 bourbon, and ice. The rim is then garnished with caramel and chopped toasted pecans, as well as the top of the cocktail being garnished with cool whip, pecans, and a dash of cinnamon.
Pumpkin Beer Float
No fall cocktail list would be complete without pumpkin. Pumpkin is one of the coziest flavors and great during the autumn season. The Pumpkin Beer Float is easy to make and will please everyone at a party. Made with vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, and pumpkin beer, it’s like fall in a cup.
Hot Buttered Rum
For a sweet and delicious cocktail, the Hot Buttered Rum is a perfect choice. This creamy cocktail combines cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, dark brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. When this drink is served, it’s hard not to think you’re drinking a cookie.
The One With The Shrub
If you’re looking for something less sweet, look no further, For a bolder and fresher taste, give The One With The Shrub a try. Served on the rocks, this cocktail combines Ford’s Gin, Carrot Shrub, Fernet Branca, fresh lemon juice, and ginger syrup. When serving The One With the Shrub, don’t forget to garnish with a rosemary sprig to compliment the other flavors.
