What is the fastest way to lose 30lbs?
I can’t believe some of the answers I’ve read here about how to lose tummy fat. It’s not about doing ab exercises at ALL people! Anyone that is telling you to do ab exercises to lose belly fat does not know what they are talking about and PLEASE don’t listen to them.
It’s know wonder I see guys in the gym doing crunches on the ab machine with their belly hanging in their lap huffing and puffing. Give me a break.
Here’s how to lose belly fat through diet and easy exercise.
Nutrition should be your TOP priorty when it comes to losing belly fat or body fat for that matter.
Here’s a quick formula that will set you on the right track.
Diet:
- Calories. Use a slight caloric deficit. Take your body weight (in lbs.) and multiply by 14 then subtract 250–300. This is the amount of calories your allowed in order to lose fat
- Protein. Get at lest 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
- Carbs. If you exercise keep your carbs at 0.5 grams per pound of body-weight on non workout days and 1 gram per pound of body weight on training days.
- Veggies. Make sure to get plenty of servings of vegetables. I bet you didn't know that there is a specific class of vegetables (3 in all) that contain very unique phytonutrients that actually help to fight against stubborn belly, thigh and hip fat. - Hydration. Drink plenty of water and ditch the fruit juices and any other sugary drinks
- Fats. Eat healthy fats
- Rest. Get 7–8 hours of sleep.
Exercise.
Exercise does not need to be that hard and the best way to lose fat around your belly is to do short bouts of body-weight interval style workouts.
Some of the body-weight workouts I use are interval like in nature and also train your abs at the same time such as: mountain climbers, planks, stability ball jack knives, etc.
Some of the body weight exercises that are the best to focus on are:
- body weight squats (and variations)
- pushups (and variations)
- forward, reverse, or walking lunges
- up & down a staircase if one is available
- floor planks (holding the plank position from forearms and feet)
- floor abs exercises such as lying leg thrusts, ab bicycles, etc.
- one-legged body weight Romanian deadlifts
