The HR Associate Intern will be working directly in our HR Service Center. The HR Service Center at Munich Reinsurance America was established to provide easy access to HR information and services through a central location. The HR Service Center focuses primarily on customer service to answer HR related questions quickly for employees/retirees. This intern will have the opportunity to learn about all of the departments in HR as the HR Service Center is a hub for interactions.

Responsibilities will include:
Assist with basic data entry transactions
Assist with answering basic inquires (both phone and email) from customers (employees)
Process transactions, for example eVerify
Assigned a project to complete, for example assisting with the process to update the employee handbook including tracking the policies to be updated, identifying differences between the multiple handbooks and typing the new handbook


Required Skills and Competencies:
Pursuing degree in human resources or business administration
Clerical or administrative experience helpful but not required
Strong customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy


Preferred Majors: Human Resources or Business Administration
Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel)
