    Description
    Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a LTAc facility in Akron, OH

    Shift: 7P-7A


    Hourly:
    $50


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform physical examinations and health assessments
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and record medical information accurately
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Assist in medical procedures, including IV insertion, gastric lavage, and sterile processing
    • Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and selfcare techniques
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
    • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical attention when necessary

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or clinical setting
    • Proficient in performing physical examinations, IV insertion, and sterile processing
    • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical imaging, and CT scans
    • Experience working in an ICU or critical care unit is preferred

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients
    • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
