    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Line Cooks are a part of the culinary team. We work together to get stations prepped so we may serve our guests. We work with many flavor profiles and try to achieve our goal of exceeding our guests expectations. Duties include preparing food and maintaining sanitation. It's a fun and professional environment led by a passionate and fair chef.

    In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef's expectations and will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensure the preparation station and kitchen are set up and stocked.
    • Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
    • Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.
    • Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
    • Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
    • Stock inventory and supplies.
    • Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Aptitude for multi-tasking.
    • Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Duties during the event can vary based on the situation, but, in general, they must be able to focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds.
    • Must be able to read menu items.
    • Good communication is important, as is being able to follow directions efficiently and meet the physical demands of the job. Must be able to communicate Member needs to other Team Members. (Host, Bartender, and/or Managers).
    • Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours at a time.
    • A positive attitude while on the job is also essential.

    PREREQUISITES:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • EDUCATION:
      • A High School diploma is preferred.
    • EXPERIENCE:
      • Preferred qualifications would include a minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience in a club, hotel, or catering service.
      • Have the ability to maintain poise under pressure.
