    Senior Accountant - ($80,000 to $94,000 plus Bonus)

    LHH Recruitment – Hybrid in Austin, TX

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Accountant within the commercial real estate sector located in Austin, TX. This role is designed for someone who is ready to take on the challenge of overseeing comprehensive accounting activities for assigned properties, ensuring all transactions are managed with precision.

    The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in accounting, with a notable emphasis on the commercial real estate arena. You should be well-versed in utilizing Yardi Voyager Accounting Software to streamline accounting processes efficiently. In addition to having a strong foundation in accounting, the right candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in commercial real estate accounting, showcasing exceptional skills in managing collections, payables, and the electronic maintenance of lease and vendor files.     Responsibilities:

    • Direct oversight of all transaction accounting for designated properties, including but not limited to collections and payables.
    • Establishment and upkeeping of electronic lease files for both existing and new tenants, ensuring all details are current and comprehensive.
    • Responsibility for the maintenance and updating of vendor files, including the collection of necessary vendor information.
    • Participation in the Year End Cam Reconciliations and assistance with new property acquisitions, including the transfer of utility accounts and other relevant tasks.
    • Engage in special projects as requested, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Ensure effective communication, both in writing and verbally, across all levels of the organization.

    Client Requirements:

    • Strong tenure in accounting, with specific experience in the commercial real estate sector.
    • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager Accounting Software or a similar platform, with a knack for adopting new technologies to enhance accounting processes.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
