    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The LG EVC Factory
    Material Planner III is responsible for (but not limited to) managing and analyzing inventory, supporting production, and controlling purchase orders.


    The
    Material Planner III will review sales forecasts, product specifications, and production schedules to accurately determine raw material requirements for our organization

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Operating weekly Purchase Order Management based on latest demand (PO Expedite/De-expedite/Cancel)

    Stabilization of production plans by ordering materials, coordinating shipping schedules and deliveries in a timely manner to meet organizational goals

    Review of material quality concerns and minimize stock level of quality issues via RMA process

    Achieving Weekly/Monthly/Annual KPIs including DIO, Aging Inventory, Material Loss

    Creation and modification of material status data while utilizing excel and internal LG systems

    Carry out monthly closing, settlement, AP domestic purchasing, and property discrepancy investigations

    Manage material input/output in ERP, ECO along with the WO Management

    Reporting issues impacting the production and management

    Performing and managing other accounts, subscriptions or duties as assigned by Manager

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum Bachelor Degree or higher

    Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, Material Planning and management, purchasing experience is preferred

    Work experience in manufacturing/operations a plus

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    Big data Management(High level Excel skills, Macro), WMS experience is a must

    Ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional attitude

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point

    Strong verbal and written communications and the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders of the organization

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing and presenting effective planning reports and projects

    Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with local teams or leadership

    Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well- defined planning problems

    Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines

    Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment

    Flexibility and adaptability are key. Detail-oriented and organized

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push,

    pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
