    Call:

Pager Call + In-House (still developing model as Nampa is moving from independent to a care team model)

    Currently:

    • Weeknights (Primary): MDs cover either in-house or pager overnight – not yet moved to a requirement for in-house 24/7 – The Weeknight Primary is covered in a block M-Th by the same provider
    • Weeknights (Secondary): MD is on back-up pager call
    • Weekends (Secondary): MD is on back-up pager call F 1900 – M 0700

Frequency: Primary and Secondary is split by the total number of providers in the group (10-providers would mean 1/10 Weeknight Primary and 1/10 Weekend Primary, plus 1/10 Weeknight Secondary, plus 1/10 Weekend Secondary)

Once we move to a robust staffed Care Team Model, we anticipate using the MDs as secondary back-up call to CRNAs In-House. With 8-physicians needed for fully-staffed, Weeknight & Weekend Secondary Call would be 1/8 weeknights/weekends.
