- Lead the quality engineering team, oversee the QMS, and ensure quality marks are being met
- Maintain compliance and adherence to ISO standards and customer quality standards
- Create, maintain, and update test plans and an audit tracking system with coinciding audit schedule
- Solve problems and conduct root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurrence of non-conformance issues
- Create and execute the strategic vision of the department and recommend changes for process improvements to the distribution center's quality processes
- Lead quality audits, projects, or special assignments as assigned
- Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and create weekly remediation schedules so work can be allocated accordingly
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Monitor, communicate, and improve quality metrics and KPI's
- Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance
- Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain loss prevention programs to reduce and control workplace injuries and hazards
- Follow the ASQ Code of Ethics
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field is required
- Must have 10+ years of experience within quality engineering roles
- Must have 10+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience serving as a Quality Manager
- Must have experience managing a Quality Management System
- Ideal candidates will possess understanding of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing strategies
- Must have knowledge of quality standards and health & safety practices and regulations
- Must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and a positive leader

LHH is seeking a Quality Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a unique opportunity to join the hottest, fastest growing industry in America and to work along industry experts who are making a difference. You will lead a team of quality professionals, manage the quality management system, oversee quality assurance, assist with new product introduction, and be responsible for achieving KPIs in a team-oriented work environment. Compensation ranges from $90,000-100,000 and includes several insurance program options, 401K match, and generous PTO and holiday offerings.
