- Understanding of all hospital policies and procedures regarding cleaning, sterilization and distribution of trays to all the units of the hospital:
- Performs biological and chemical monitoring in accordance with quality assurance standards
- Collaborates with the Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, surgery carts, and supplies in an accurate and timely manner
- May be assigned service-specific technical responsibilities, including collaborating with the Surgical Services Unit Manager and Director of Surgical Services to provide services, specific instrumentation and supplies
- Communication and Teamwork

Monday-Friday: Rotating shifts
The Surgical Services Unit Support position is seeking a sterile processing technician to perform sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies. They maintain recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilization of surgical instruments.
Essential Functions
