Quality Control Supervisor
3rd SHIFT/$90-$110k/Full-Time

About the Company:
We are a bio medical manufacturer seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor.
Your Impact
- Guarantee adherence to all relevant regulatory standards, both in the US and internationally, encompassing FDA, EU, ISO, USP, NRC, and cGMP guidelines.
- Collaborate across different departments to synchronize QC testing schedules with production timelines, ensuring all testing and maintenance tasks are completed promptly.
- Conduct and oversee the testing of finished products, raw materials, components, stability samples, validation batches, and experimental samples.
- Review, approve, and uphold controlled documents within your designated area of responsibility.
- Spearhead and provide support for investigations pertaining to deviations, product failures, and customer feedback. Author and assess quality and safety reports, and facilitate timely corrective actions.
- Ensure the secure handling of radioactive materials, maintaining exposure levels As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) to promote a safe environment.
- Mentor, cultivate, and oversee team performance, aligning objectives with site goals and KPIs, while fostering team growth. Conduct daily meetings and relay performance metrics.
- Control department overtime, uphold 5S standards, and guarantee adherence to training and qualification protocols.
What You'll Need
- A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field is essential. Equivalent experience may be considered as a substitute for a degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is necessary, with prior supervisory experience being advantageous.
- A solid grasp of cGMP laboratory operations and proficiency with major laboratory instrumentation is crucial.
- The capacity to interpret laboratory data and arrive at well-informed compliance decisions.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Capability to function within a radioactive manufacturing setting and fulfill physical requirements, including lifting up to 70 pounds, wearing PPE, standing for prolonged durations, and accommodating off-shift, weekend, or holiday work as required.
