MEP DEPARTMENT LEAD/MANAGER - Bedminster, NJMEP Department Lead/Manager – 10-15 Years of Experience
O&S Associates, Inc. is a multi-disciplined Engineering Design firm that is seeking a licensed
Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
to manage a 15 person MEP group. Candidate should have 10-15 years of design and project management experience. Projects include facility MEP systems including HVAC, Plumbing, Power, and Fire Protection. Responsibilities will include management of discipline specific project managers and guiding full MEP group. PE License is required.
Our firm works in many settings including low-rise and high-rise residential buildings, office complexes, retail locations, warehouses, parking garages, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and agencies including NYC SCA, NYC DDC, DASNY, and others.
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to understand requirements for new construction or restoration projects
Write proposals for new work
Manage work between fellow MEP/FP engineers and other consultants, architects, and/or disciplines
Enforce quality control protocols
Act as technical resource for the MEP department
Attend and represent the firm in meetings
Manage budgets for assigned projects
Ensure all disciplines complete projects on time, quality, and budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10-15 years of design and project management experience
PE Registration is required
Strong leadership skills and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines
