Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week; overtime not permitted without prior approval from the Delivery Center Chief Information Officer.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an Internal/External Business Requirements Coordinator to support the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center's software procurement approval and renewal processes.
The position operates within a high-volume environment managing a large backlog of approval requests and ongoing software renewals, requiring strong organizational discipline, documentation accuracy, and consistent customer engagement.
Gather and document business requirements from agency customers in compliance with established policies and procedures
Prepare and submit documentation to security, legal, and administrative approvers
Coordinate meetings with legal, business, and security stakeholders to support timely approvals
Review and provide input on contract agreements and business-related contractual documents
Coordinate with vendors to communicate Commonwealth requirements and required cloud-use documentation
Research existing Commonwealth solutions to determine alignment with documented business needs
Provide guidance to agency customers on approval processes, policies, and procedures
Maintain centralized tracking of over 100 active software renewals, including timelines and status reporting
Manage and monitor a backlog of approval requests from intake through resolution
Facilitate follow-up requests for additional information during the approval process
Serve as a primary point of contact for agency and delivery center staff
Required Experience And Skills
2+ years of full-time experience in procurement, program management, or process administration
3+ years of full-time experience in a customer-facing role
1+ year of experience in vendor management
Strong organizational, coordination, leadership, and communication skills
SITE NOTES
Mandatory onsite work two days per week
Commonwealth-issued equipment must be picked up and returned onsite
