    Position Summary
    The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level without constant supervision. The technologist ensures patient safety, accurate imaging, and compliance with radiation safety standards in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations
    Position patients and utilize immobilization devices appropriately
    Select proper technical factors based on patient needs
    Operate radiologic equipment for specific procedures
    Restrict radiation exposure using cones and collimating devices
    Perform portable X-rays when required
    Process and develop X-ray films

    Required Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent
    Completion of clinical and ARRT requirements
    Active

    New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License
    ARRT Certification
    Minimum 1-year orthopedic experience required
