    Project Accountant


    Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with a global leader in complex industrial construction supporting the aerospace, and the power generation industries, in the search for a Project Accountant.

    In this role, you will be part of a top-performing Accounting department that works hard and has fun. You will report to an experienced Division Controller who is an expert in the industry.

    You will contribute to the company's growth and profitability while building strong relationships with both the internal teams and external customers.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Accounts Receivable

    Performs non-routine and moderately complex accounts receivable functions

    Prepares, posts, and submits project billings on time and accurately (including time & materials, cost-plus and lump sum invoicing)

    Ensures all invoicing and billings are compliant with contracts and terms

    Monitors projects and phase codes to determine accurate timing

    Analyzes and processes transactions; corrects billing records

    Posts sales and revenue

    Job Cost Analysis

    Analyze detail of job cost transaction reports

    Job cost maintenance

    Phase and cost code maintenance

    Ad hoc reports and review as requested


    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar accounting role (Ideally construction)

    Strong service orientation, problem-solving, flexibility and professionalism

    Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and clients - including differing skill sets, education, and experience

    Excellent organization skills and time management

    Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environment

    Able to use 10-key calculator by touch

    Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products; technical aptitude to learn internal systems and required packages

    Must be able to obtain client badging

    Previous work experience in the construction industry preferred
