Job summary
Our Automation Engineer supports, develops and maintains automated systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing ensuring production equipment control systems and digital infrastructure operate reliably efficiently and in compliance with cGMP regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical skills and expertise to support operations ensuring automated manufacturing equipment operates efficiently including network configuration integration principles the ability to work effectively with IT.
- Trouble shoots machines monitors PLC issues performs root cause analysis on complex issues executes improvements investigates automation incidents problems to prevent recurrence including development implementation of corrective actions designs implements equipment facilities related controls including PLC coding Allen-Bradley Siemens HMI SCADA systems evaluates automation information technology systems develops strategies to optimize ensure quality stability of automation systems through future expansion replacement or upgrade uses different software tools computer applications Microsoft Office PLC programming software electrical schematic design software HMI programming software SCADA industrial networks Allen-Bradley Siemens handles most technical questions objections for assigned products maintains documentation for equipment processes change control drawings manuals validation streamlines workflows develop automated laboratory processes instrumentation systems collecting documenting requirements developing concepts design testing validation implementation training recognizes priorities takes action makes productive use of time understands adheres policies procedures validates data integrity GAMP 5 CFR Part 11 experience operates troubleshoots Fanuc Robotics.
