- You will be the subject matter expert for the safety and health of our associates
- Maintain document control and retention for all local forms, work instructions, profiles, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Identify and assist with implementing improvements to safety standards
- Train all newly hired staff on safety policies and procedures according to OSHA guidelines
- Conduct annual safety drills (Fire, Evacuation, and Seek-shelter)
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures
- Maintain accurate reports, training records, and certificates
- Host audits conducted by clients and third parties
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with health and safety
- 5+ years of warehousing experience
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and implementation
- Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint

We are looking for a Safety Manager to handle the implementation, compliance, audits, and action outcomes for our distribution facility in Locust Grove, Georgia.
