JOB
Responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining a safe and clean pool area.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- This position reports to the Facility Supervisor and Aquatic Supervisor. - Greet all guests with a positive attitude as they enter the facility. - Responsible for cash control at the admissions desk; collect and properly record all cash, check and charge transactions, and complete the daily cash balance sheet at the end of each shift. - Answer all incoming phone calls and follow through on calls or transfer calls to the appropriate person or location. - Provide general information on Parks & Recreation activities and facilities.- Provide great customer service to patrons on deck, in the concession stand and at the admissions desk. - Maintain a positive public image and attitude with good public relations. - Wear appropriate staff uniform at all times. - Attend all staff meetings. - Abide by all City of Elgin rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Manual. - Other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Hours vary based on the open hours of each facility. Locations: Lords Park Family Aquatic Center & Wing Park Family Aquatic Center
