    Description
    Our client is seeking a highly qualified, experienced

    Senior Process Engineer

    at their Indianapolis, IN location to support their work in creating sustainable manufacturing processes for a better future.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead process engineering projects, including feasibility studies and remedial designs.
    • Design and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Ensure successful product scaleup through pilot and manufacturing stages.
    • Validate product quality, equipment sizing, and process engineering design.
    • Implement process control systems for realtime production monitoring.
    • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with customers on environmental waste treatment and troubleshooting.
    • Assist in design package preparation, including engineering calculations and specifications.
    • Conduct risk assessments for safety and regulatory compliance.
    • Support system operations and maintenance staff, and contribute to plans and reports.
    • Identify contaminant sources, manage site assessments, and conduct audits.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
    • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and environmental fields.
    • Expertise in process engineering, improvement, optimization, and scaleup.
    • Proven track record in product and process engineering scaleup, equipment sizing, and validation.
    • Indepth knowledge of sustainable production practices, waste minimization, and quality enhancement.
    • Familiarity with hazardous and industrial waste, wastewater treatment, and chemical manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in biological filtration systems and strong project management skills.
    • Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance at city, state, and federal levels.
    • Excellent technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
