    Human Resources Generalist

    Human Resources- Payroll Specialist- HR Generalist

    Our client in the local area is actively seeking to add an HR Generalist to join the organization. To be successful in this role, you should have experience and a solid understanding of:

    • Payroll & Benefits
    • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Organizational SOP & Human Resource compliance

    Job Type: Full-time permanent staff role

    Sample duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Recruiting of new employees including job announcements and advertisements
    • Facilitates the entire hiring process for new employees
    • Sets up and executes new hire orientation and onboarding
    • Organizes and maintains personnel records to ensure compliance
    • Manage weekly ADP Payroll processing
    • Sets up and runs meetings on various topics pertaining to HR
    • Maintains record keeping for employees
    • Manages benefits administration during open enrollment and throughout the year
    • Employment Verifications
    • Organization compliance in accordance with state, local and federal laws
    • Capable of resolving employee relation matters
    • Federal and State Compliance Reporting
    • Unemployment Inquiries
    • Conducts exit interviews
    • Handles termination process in various databases
    • Helps to plan, organize, and participate in company events

    Requirements:

    • Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist of at approximately three (3) or more years
    • Familiarity with full cycle recruiting
    • Payroll processing experience (ADP a plus)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good problem-solving abilities
    • Foster a team-oriented work environment
    • Human Resources certification a plus
    • Experience in a construction or service environment a plus
