Job summary
The Transportation Director will have full ownership of the company's transportation and fleet operations across three facilities: Commerce, Hayward, and Glendale.This role is based in Commerce, CA,
and is responsible for ensuring efficient,
compliant,
and cost-effective transportation operations,
with a strong emphasis on Direct Store Delivery (DSD), route optimization,
driver performance,
cross-site consistency.

Lead,maintain,& manage drivers,directors,&transportation managers.Set clear performance expectations.and enforce company policies.& safety standards..‣
Compliance

Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations,safety standards,and company policies.Conduct regular audits inspections,and corrective actions as needed.‣
Performance KPI management:
Track analyze,and report key transport metrics including on-time delivery,cost per mile,fleet utilization driver productivity,safe performance.
