- Deep knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles, including risk exposure by industry.
- Nice to have professional certifications in insurance, such as CPCU, ARM, CIC, etc.
- Ability to analyze complex insurance needs, assess risk factors, and recommend appropriate solutions tailored to clients and business objectives.
- Primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and provide exceptional service.
- Partner with Producer to prepare a marketing submission. Negotiate coverage and terms with the insurance carriers. Develop a proposal and assist in the presentations for new business prospects.
- Analyze current coverage to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Conduct thorough reviews of client businesses to assess risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Coordinate renewal processes for commercial accounts, including marketing, reviewing quoted policy terms, & negotiating with carriers.
- Liaise between clients and claims adjusters, assisting with the claims reporting process and advocating for clients through claim resolution.
