    Job Title

    The Employment Specialist is a vital role within our organization, working under the guidance of the Director of TIL Services. This position involves successfully engaging and retaining young people referred by the Department of Youth Services (DYS). By conducting assessments and consultations, the Employment Specialist will collaborate with each individual to create and implement a tailored career plan.

    Evaluation of progress towards career goals, discharge planning, and implementation are key responsibilities of this role. The Employment Specialist will foster connections between our organization and key partners, while working closely with young people to achieve their objectives in accordance with our core values.

    This position requires the ability to provide on-site job coaching and supervision as needed, drawing upon knowledge of local employment resources.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
    • Demonstrated Passion for Working with Young People
    • Familiarity with Employability Skills Training and Labor Laws
    • Experience with Youth and Young Adults with System Involvement

    Salary

    $55,000-$65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
