- Work experience must reflect better than average attendance and no documented performance issues related to violations of confidentiality codes or functions of this position
- Work is performed indoors where minimal safety considerations exist.
- Position requires weekend schedules.
- Administer the highest level of confidentiality when performing duties, which may include but not limited to discussions, handling personnel information, reviewing documents, and handling tribal ballots.
- Effectively communicate, problem solve and provide solutions to resolve issues with accuracy and detail.
- Communicate in both written and verbal format.
- Experience working with highly confidential and/or sensitive documents.
- Knowledge of Colville Tribal Codes, Constitution, and regulations relating to Elections procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must be a self-motivator.
- Operate basic office equipment, including but not limited to: computer, fax machine, 10-key/calculator, multi-line telephone, copy machine, etc.

POSITION: Elections Board Member- (1) for Omak District, (2) Nespelem District, (1) Keller District
SALARY: $21.00 p/h
REPORTS TO: Elections Coordinator
LOCATION: Elections Program, Nespelem WA
Basic Functions: This position is responsible for assisting and conducting credible Colville Tribal Elections at the polls. Ability to review and interpret the Elections Code, Constitution and By-Laws. Properly process poll ballots. Communicate with the Elections office during the Poll voting. Must be able to perform duties independently and maintain strict confidentiality.

Education and Training:
TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.
If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
