    Soliant has partnered with an innovative educational institution located in Noxontown, DE, dedicated to delivering outstanding learning opportunities for their students. In our commitment to student well-being and academic achievement, we are seeking a capable Physical Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis for the upcoming school year.

    As a part-time Physical Therapist at our school, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical health and development of our students. Working closely with educators, administrators, and families, you will provide personalized physical therapy services to students with diverse needs, empowering them to thrive in an educational environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' physical capabilities and requirements.
    • Develop customized treatment plans to address students' motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and mobility challenges.
    • Implement effective physical therapy interventions and techniques to enhance students' functional abilities and independence.
    • Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and other professionals to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into students' educational plans.
    • Monitor students' progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding outcomes.
    • Offer guidance and assistance to parents/guardians on home-based exercises and strategies to reinforce therapy objectives.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and pertinent records.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
    • Possess a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Delaware.
    • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
    • Previous experience working with school-aged children is advantageous but not mandatory.
    • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
    • Exhibit compassion, patience, and a sincere dedication to promoting students' well-being and academic success.
