A System Administrator Intermediate is responsible for the intermediate level management the day-to-day work of maintaining, monitoring, backing up, building, and troubleshooting the assigned campus server systems. This position will also mentor the System Administrator Associates. Position may require travel. Confidentiality agreement is required for all IT positions and will be renewed annually.

Managing - 95
Management of assigned day to day duties and projects. Checks assigned systems states with monitoring software, Big Brother. Check job queue for new requests. Documents system and software research. Assists with and Backups system maintenance, setup of systems, system tests and monitoring. Maintains system and software database. Documents and evaluates new operating systems. Maintains maintenance schedule, warranty information, and system and backup script development.

Perform other duties as assigned. Mentor System Administrator Associates.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
