This position is within the Corporate Technology department, part of the Enterprise Transformation Office IT team. The team is responsible for managing software development and business transformation tools such as Rally, Jira/Jira Service Management, and the new Planview PPM tool.

The role involves being a system administrator for the Planview PPM tool. You will play a key part in designing and implementing the tool, working closely with vendors and business partners throughout the process. Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst of Enterprise Transformation IT, you will contribute to configuring and enhancing the tool during its initial deployment and as it transitions to full production for the company.

Overview:

• Responsible for creating/maintaining system documentation and best practices
• Comfortable working independently
• Defining complex or enterprise-wide business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
• Working closely and develops relationships with a variety of senior level internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met
• Ensuring a lean-agile mind-set is applied to work projects
• Working on initiatives of moderate complexity, size, and impact
• Ability to break down complex or vague problems and steps through them in a rational way
• Finding opportunities for process improvements
• Assisting in implementation of new processes as technologies, risks, and methodologies evolve
• Displaying dedication to helping team members/makes suggestions to improve practices
• Assist end users with functional issues or questions
• Manage changes to existing configured screens or fields. Add configured screens/fields
• Manage changes to dashboards, tiles, portlets
• Gather requirements, analyze, and make a recommendation for product updates to current vision
• Assist in the creation/revision/execution of test plans, functional testing or application testing during rollout
• Support design of integrations from PPM tool to other applications in HR, Accounting, and Development
• Willingness to take required training from Planview to become a certified admin
• Administer users including grants, roles, etc.

Business Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Project Management and best practices
• You articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions
• Your decisions show a focus on current and future business priorities, together with fiscal responsibility

Requirements:

• Typically, 5+ years in a technical business analysis, system admin, or development role for a project management or change management software
• Identify system/process/data impacts and propose appropriate alternatives/remediation
• Demonstrate proficient understanding in multiple technologies/applications
• Identify impacts across teams and coordinate across senior levels to manage dependencies and potentially competing priorities
• Proficient in using Power BI to gather data from sources and create reports
• SQL proficiency intermediate to advanced
• Understanding of how organizations manage work and resources

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Project Portfolio Management software
• Experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Rally is a plus

FINRA Requirements:

FINRA licenses are not necessary for this role.

Work Flexibility:

This role offers the opportunity for remote work up to three days a week.
