    Opportunity:

    RN - Cath Lab

    Job Details:


    • Work 4x10 hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week

    • Shifts vary as needed between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (may extend beyond scheduled time)

    • Weekdays only - no weekends or on-call required

    • Provide pre and post recovery care for patients having minimally invasive cardiac procedures

    • Work with patients undergoing coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, and EP device implants

    • Manage associated cardiac medications and drips

    • Must have critical care exposure with cardiac patients

    • Minimum 2 years nursing experience required in Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Pre-Post Care Unit, or Cardiac Rehab

    • Travel experience preferred

    • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association

    • Must be EPIC proficient - no exceptions

    • Virginia or Compact license required in hand at time of submission

    • No license or background hits accepted - zero tolerance policy

    • Must pass EKG testing with 80% or higher (one attempt only)

    • Complete 3 hours of pre-start modules

    • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility

    This medical center provides comprehensive cardiac care services with a dedicated cardiac catheterization lab. The facility specializes in minimally invasive cardiac procedures and maintains state-of-the-art equipment for advanced cardiac interventions. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
