The Interventional Radiology Technologist and Electrophysiology Technology Training Program is a comprehensive educational initiative designed to equip radiology technologists with the specialized knowledge and skills required for a successful career in interventional radiology.
This program integrates theoretical understanding, practical hands-on experience, and clinical training to prepare participants for the dynamic and evolving field of interventional radiology.

Graduation from a Radiologic Technologist Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
OR ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
General knowledge of interventional diagnostic principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.
Capable of performing routine interventional examinations as well as a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline.
General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS).
Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.Electrophysiology Technologist Requirements:
