BOH Expeditor

Restaurant Expeditors are the go-between linking front-of-house and back-of-house teams in a restaurant. They stand at the pass area in front of the hot line where cooks place finished orders awaiting pickup.

Duties:

• Check that orders have been made correctly
• Pare down food preparation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness by wiping plates clean of excess food and liquid residue when clearing tables

Ideally, Restaurant Expeditors keep their environment tidy to comply with health department standards.
