This position is for a Maintenance Technician within a food processing company where they have high speed packaging equipment, sizing equipment, hopping, splitting and other shaping equipment for chicken, both frozen, chilled or partially fried.
Employees will be responsible for both preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repairing. The role will be working both mechanically and electrically, working with electrical panels and up to 480v. The break down of mechanical to electrical would be 70-30% of the time.
Responsibilities include
Responsible for all aspects of maintenance and keeping the facility running for production
Work under GMP's and ensure that all health and safety standards
Experience in working with high speed packaging equipment and problem solving any issues
Required to work safely with 480v and other electrical issue that come up
Follow preventative maintenance plan as directed by manager
Job Requirements
Looking for Entry Level Maintenance that have attended a Trade School, learning industrial electric
Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with schematics
Able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems through a written test
Own their own basic set of tools (if they are entry, not necessarily required)
