MEDICAL ASSISTANT, CERTIFIED - DUKE WOMENS HEALTH HERITAGE$Only new hires who have not worked for Duke University Health System in the past 12 months (at the time of offer) are eligible to receive the sign-on bonus.
Attain prior authorizations for medications and durable medical equipment as indicated.
Float in clinic to cover patient and provider needs as delegated by nurse manager, health center administrator, charge nurse, or nurse team lead.
Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant programaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) strongly preferred.
High school or GED graduation required.The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
