    Exciting Opportunity for Full-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired Near Ringgold, Georgia

    Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time position for the 2024/2025 school year near Ringgold, GA. This is an onsite, itinerant position.

    Position: Full-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired
    Location: Near Ringgold, GA
    Type: School-Based Contract

    Job Description:

    • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across various grade levels
    • Conduct assessments to determine students' educational needs and develop appropriate individualized education plans (IEPs)
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the implementation of acmodations and modifications
    • Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials to facilitate access to the curriculum
    • Provide instruction in braille and other alternative munication methods as needed
    • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participation in accordance with state and federal regulations

    State Requirements (Georgia):

    • Valid Georgia teaching license with Visual Impairment endorsement or eligibility to obtain
