    Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer Role

    This position involves performing all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level requiring limited supervision. Maintaining a high standard of medical ethics is essential, as well as being self-motivated to increase understanding and knowledge of the field of adult and pediatric cardiac disease.

    Performing clinical assessments and diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations is crucial in this role. Utilizing cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images ensures accuracy in diagnoses.

    The safety, mental, and physical comfort of patients are top priorities while they're under care. Assisting with maintaining laboratory accreditation also contributes to the success of the team.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • An associate degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience;
    • A minimum of one year's experience working independently in adult echocardiography;
    • Registration with either ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
    , ensuring that individuals have a solid foundation in these areas

    Candidates must demonstrate adaptability by rotating between clinic work at an outpatient location near Bismarck hospital; it demands effective time management so your regular schedule remains intact when doing rounds within other facilities including some weeksnight shifts where possible depending upon how busy things get during holidays etc., which adds diversity every now then - especially considering unpredictable staffing scenarios due various emergencies happening frequently sometimes causing short notice changes without fully knowing impact yet still manages changing circumstances effectively making sure coverage occurs promptly.
